As part of its ongoing efforts to expand and grow, Dama Development has inaugurated its new branch in Sohag City, in the presence of a number of prominent figures from the real estate development and administrative sectors

During the opening ceremony, the company also launched its latest project, Rawasin compound, in New Sohag City
Eng. Taher Abu Raqam, Chairman of Dama Development, stated that opening the new branch in Sohag is part of the company’s strategic plan to expand into Upper Egypt and deliver integrated urban projects aligned with the state’s vision for developing new cities and supporting sustainable development

He added that the launch of Rawasin compound marks a significant milestone in the real estate market of New Sohag

The project features modern architectural designs and comprehensive services that meet the aspirations of various segments of society. It includes diverse residential units, commercial areas, and service facilities that ensure the highest levels of quality and comfort for residents

Abu Raqam said, “The opening of our new branch and the launch of Rawasin compound reflect our vision for serious and sustainable investment in Upper Egypt, particularly in new cities with great future potential, such as New Sohag

He noted that the Rawasin compound – New Sohag is a fully integrated residential project that combines modern design with advanced facilities, offering an upscale environment that meets the aspirations of families seeking a distinguished lifestyle in the heart of a promising city

The Rawasin is being developed on a plot of land divided into two prime zones: a residential area consisting of six similar buildings, and a commercial and service area integrated within the site to meet the daily needs of residents, he added

For his part, Mohamed Abu Okail, Vice Chairman of Dama Development, stated that the opening of the company’s new branch witnessed the attendance of several prominent figures, alongside the company’s team

During the inauguration ceremony, Dama’s vision for achieving integrated urban development and its future projects—designed to meet the needs of the real estate market in new cities—was also presented

He noted that the Rawasin development was designed to offer high-quality residential units that respect local cultural values, climate considerations, and the need for privacy, while catering to a wide range of homeowners

The project’s initial launch witnessed strong demand within the first few hours, as clients were eager to take advantage of its competitive pricing and early-bird benefits, according to Abu Okail

He further explained that all units in the Rawasin feature north-facing orientations (Bahary) to maximize natural light. The project also ensures a high level of privacy, with no living space windows facing opposite units. Additionally, all northern façades overlook vertical green walls that enhance the visual appeal of the blank rear elevations of adjacent buildings

Each building is equipped with two spacious elevators designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities and serves only four units per floor, minimizing congestion and improving circulation efficiency. The basement level includes an underground parking garage with excellent natural lighting and ventilation
